Presently we offer 3 styles of camps.
Camps include:
Immersion Camps: Refresh and review present immersion language skills through arts, crafts, games and music. No English will be spoken. Designed for students already attending Blythe Academy’s Immersion program or for those children who have been immersed in the language in some other way, i.e. have lived in a native speaking area. Snacks and beverage provided and take home materials are included.
Beginner Camps: Introduction to the native language, basic language speaking and comprehension skills through exposure using arts, crafts, games, and music. Snacks and beverage provided and take home materials are included.
Mini-Prep Camps: This is also an introduction to the native language, basic language speaking and comprehension skills through exposure using arts, crafts, games and music, however, class emphasis will also include basic academic skills to prepare students to enter or return to immersion style programs. Snacks and beverage provided and take home materials are included.
Our camps introduce language and culture to campers in a fun, interactive format. It is a low pressure camp designed to engage students in culture and language. Campers can expect to learn basic new language skills and education about the culture and areas of the world speaking the targeted language.
