Language Classes

Unlike most language classes that can be dry and difficult, our classes are designed to be fun and interactive. Students learn a target language through partial immersion through age-appropriate games, real life activities, drama, and native music and art. Guided by natural language learning skills and their instructor, students will be linked to the target language and won’t even realize they’re acquiring new language skills while they’re enjoying each lesson.

The biggest difference about our classes is that we keep them SMALL! Smaller classes assure quality time and attention from our instructors.

Parents are also a central part of our program. Support outside the classroom is necessary for the success of your child and expected for best results. When parents interact and inquire and support the child’s new language skills, children will become comfortable and more confident practicing and exploring the 2nd language. Time spent outside the classroom increases listening and comprehension skills and improves the total language acquisition process. Support materials are provided and included in the cost of tuition.

New students can expect to learn basic language skills using phrases and sentences. As they progress, they will practice life skills such as dialogues in real life situations using only the targeted language.

Each 10 week session has a particular topic. However, same topic sessions can be repeated as repetition aids comprehension and speaking skills, as does additional practice outside the classroom.

PARENT/CAREGIVER & TOT CLASSES
SCHEDULE & TUITION

TOTS: (2-3 ½  years of age)
Parents/Caregivers actively participate with their child during these sessions. Parents/Caregivers' support enables continued language development beyond the classes and into the homes. Their participation helps share the enthusiasm of learning a 2nd language. As the child’s verbal skills start to flourish, he/she will gain strong foundations for the second language. You and your child will acquire an understanding of some basic vocabulary and traditions and immerse into the culture.

STUDENT CLASSES
SCHEDULE & TUITION

YOUNG CHILD: (3-5 years of age)
At this level, children's curiosity and love of play will be the driving force for their learning. Sessions are designed to stimulate their young minds while gaining a deeper knowledge of the language fundamentals and cultural attributes.

CHILD: (5-8) INTRO
As the child develops a passion for learning, these sessions will not only stimulate their growing minds, but also challenge them to learn the language essentials and cultural distinctions.

CHILD: (5-8) EXPERIENCED
Designed for the children who have advanced through earlier classes, or similar immersion program and already have an understanding and language comprehension of the chosen language.

OLDER CHILD: (9-12)
Perfect for home schooled students desiring a more comprehensive language program or older children desiring language introduction prior to middle school & high school programs.

** NOTE: OLDER CHILD & TWEEN CLASSES:  Due to the varying ages, and mastery at this age level, classes are taught with appropriate immersion based on the level of students enrolled in each class. We make every effort to match levels, however, different levels of mastery can improve both students ability to learn more. The advanced students inspire newer students while the advanced students are able to practice their skills to perfection and can practice skills while helping other students.
